Louis Vuitton showcased a stunning Pre-Fall 2023 show in Seoul, Korea on April 29. Models walked the Jamsugyo Bridge at the Han River along a lit-up waterfall and displayed the hottest bags to exclusive guests. It was the brand’s first women’s pre-fall event in Seoul and likely represents an acknowledgment of the growing importance of the Asian market beyond China.
Additionally, the theme and environment were creatively designed by world-renowned Squid Game director Hwang Dong-Hyuk. Famous Squid Game star Jung Hoyeon opened the show, carrying a red Epi leather Alma bag.

Unlike typical collections that take months to hit stores, this one launches May 19th with limited online availability May 5th. When carrying one of these bags, observers will know it’s Louis Vuitton with their glamorous Monogram and excellent craftsmanship.
As for the all-important handbag models, Louis Vuitton showed classics like the Keepall and Alma, in assorted sizes and colors. Truly these are styles that never go, well, out of style, whether large or small.
In addition to these various styles, the famous and unique Atlantis hit the runway and wowed the audience. Not quite like a sack and not quite like a tote, the Louis Vuitton Atlantis bag was first introduced in 2016. The new Atlantis still sports an open-top design, two top handles with removable handle fastener, and an adjustable shoulder strap. However, the distinctive LV lock has been replaced with a classic leather luggage tag – which varies depending on the bag’s colorway. Additionally, Louis Vuitton has upgraded the Atlantis with a luxurious all-leather version available in both black and beige.
With the revival of the Atlantis, this design and trend is sure to continue, vaulting the ability and the design of this iconic bag to even greater heights and newer consumer markets.
